This is a collaborative piece. The core instrument is handmade by Eric the Flute Maker, with finishing and design enhancements by LeoFlutes. ( Each piece is individually finished and inspected before shipping).
Eric's words: "For quite some time I have been wondering what new instrument I could create that was really good. And here it is! Using a Tenor Sax mouthpiece and an easy to blow 1 1/2 tenor reed. I was amazed that such a thin piece of bamboo with a big sax head could sound so good and be so easy to play.
